Location: Abandoned Forestry Compound, Northern Sweden
Demon Suspected: Unknown Classification (Working theory: Aggressive/ Stalker hybrid)
Team Status: Separated during manifestation. Alone. Not ideal.
I am currently sheltering in what I believe to be the remains of the site’s mess hall. Light is poor – my torch keeps flickering. The hand crank for the battery is operational, so it is likely due to proximity interference. I’ve set up a manual perimeter using salt, iron filings, and the ritual candles I had kept for the banishment. Admittedly, I may have activated them prematurely. A mistake, yes, but minor. I hope.
Noise in the pipes above me began approximately thirteen minutes ago. It has not ceased. I believe the entity is testing the space, indicating potential Stalker traits. This was assumed prior to the manifestation, but my confidence is growing.
If this is my final entry (and I acknowledge the statistical likelihood is rising), I would request that this passage be appended to my Codex contributions. I spent years dreaming of fieldwork. Of earning my place among those whose names I annotated, highlighted, and admired. I cannot say I expected my first operation as full agent to be my last, but –

Addendum:
Should this be recovered, I ask that my error regarding the Pontianak classification in Entry 6 be amended. The Trait is more accurately Darkness Manipulation, not Environmental Cold. The phrasing in the fifth edition Codex is unclear – recommend revision, if possible.
